Trinity

My Friend asked me yesterday if I could explain the trinity to her. She couldn't understand how God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all one. I tried to explain it to her using an apple analogy...

Apple=Trinity

Skin=God the Father...He protects us
Flesh (white inside of the apple)=God the Son...He sustains us and fulfills our needs
Core/Seeds=God the Holy Spirit...He plants the seeds of faith within us.

Deuteronomy 6:4 
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
